This is a generalist role that is both technical and customer facing.
As a Content Engineer at Recall.ai, you will be the face of the company on the internet, producing technical written content, creating sample apps, and launching mini projects using our API.
You'll own the entire content engineering function. This means doing everything related to content for developers, including:
Technical Writing: You'll develop high-quality sample code, technical blog posts, and technical demos to improve the developer experience.
Coding: You'll ship polished projects using our API, create sample apps, and be hands-on in creating coding-related content for the internet.
Product: You'll chat with our customers to deeply understand what they need, how they found us, and what they searched. You’ll create written content + build apps around their interests.
Marketing: You’ll own the content calendar and help with product launches that are blasted out to our audience of 10k+ developers.
At the moment, this role doesn't involve speaking at tech conferences, but there is opportunity for the role to evolve down the line.
Huge impact. You'll have a major role in building a culture centered around customer empathy. You get to build the foundations of the company and developer experience.
No bureaucracy. You’ll own and drive every initiative you work on from start to finish. We fully trust you.
Massive growth opportunities. And not just on the technical side. Anything you want to learn about the business we’ll teach you.
You are not ready for the occasional 60 hour work week right now.
You are not comfortable working without clear structure.
You are not ready for a risky career opportunity. Even with our growth, we are still an early-stage startup. If you need something more predictable, this is not the right fit.
You’re not excited about working with engineers. You won’t be able to succeed in this role unless you love our customers and want to truly help them in whatever way possible.
Deep customer empathy, including the desire to help people and solve their problems
Strong ability to communicate complex technical topics in a simple and understandable way
1+ years of software development experience
100% covered, top-of-the-line health insurance, dental, and vision.
Computer and workspace enhancements.
Unlimited PTO.
Quarterly company off-sites with the team and explore exciting destinations around the world.
Opportunity to play a critical role in building the foundations of a company.
